Shadow Investigations!

Reception A have been out and about looking for shadows.
We chased our shadows, made tall, short and standing on one leg shadows! 

The children found out that:- "When we stand by the wall we are in the shade because there is no sun. The sun is behind the wall. The light of the sun cannot go through the wall."

We have also started looking at another way we can see ourselves..... by using a mirror we can see our reflections.

Sanna; 'I am making a computer game!'.  The mirrors for a keyboard and the screen, the shapes for the keys, and I will be drawing pictures on the 'screen'.
