Reception visit the National Museum

We went on a 'treasure hunt' . First we went upstairs...

They put water on the carpet to keep the museum cool

It was a bit dark upstairs but we found the patterns on the big pictures.

Isla's dad showed us the ancient writing on the stone. Imagine how heavy it would be to carry that around with you he said!

Karim and Tony saw some dinosaur teeth!

We helped each other to find the statues, bowls, slippers, swords and patterns.

"I wonder why they made the statues so big", said Michael...

Marjaan finds the key of life hieroglyphic and helps her friends.

The museum put a big mirror under the stone so we could see all the writing and pictures in the reflection.

We all found the things and checked them off. Then we did some observational drawings.
