A busy Tuesday!

It is getting hot again, please do remember to bring your hats to school, or leave them in the hat box every day. I can' find hats for Mathani, Michael,  Nayra, Sana and Perla!

We learn how to balance the scales today. Yes we all had some cornflakes... Except Matilda who has her own kind of cereals.

The children chose a big or a small spoon and how many spoonfuls of cornflakes!

Sana weighed the cornflakes and balanced with 'people' in the other side of the scales...

Then she decided to use counters....it was a lot of counting!

I eat coco pops at home Perla told me!

Tiago had a turn.

The cornflakes were the same weight as 10 counters...

Julio put 10 big spoons in the scales. It balanced with 10 counters.

Timmy and Marjaan have been very active in their daily search for mini beasts especially worms!

We asked the gardener to help us again. At first we didn't find any worms!

Then on the third try we saw the longest one ever! It was about 2 of Timmy's feet long! It is in the earth in a container in class. We have to be sure it doesn't dry out.... We lost the worms from the other day as our cleaner didn't realize we were saving them in the dustbin - a dark place!
