The 1st ant trapping !

We discussed ways to trap an ant or two last week. Today the children got some food and we went out to catch some ants and make our own ant tunnels!

Another small group made us a surprise! They played the 'pass the watermelon' game - e.g. My water melon is......

adding as many adjectives  they could...cold, strong, round, heavy, bumpy, green, yummy.... and then they shared some juicy watermelon pieces they had cut for us! Just what we needed...
